Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced vocalist, singing for a hobby or a signed artist, Mike's Individual Vocal Coaching will equip you to the highest level helping you improve your vocal technique and reach your full potential. Areas most commonly covered include:
- Breathing and support
- Vocal range and power
- Use of chest voice and head voice
- Vocal performance
- Stylistic techniques
- Tone quality and variety
- Pitching and control
- Vocal improvisation
- Diction and harmonizing
Lessons will be tailored to your individual needs.
- Students can choose to apply the above techniques to a wide range of material or focus on their own songs.
- There is also the opportunity to professionally record the tracks you have worked on.
In addition to vocal training, piano, music theory and songwriting can also be taught if required.

If you want to work on and polish your performance then Mike's Performance Workshops are for you. These are designed for singers with experience who want to explore and develop their individual performance in a supportive and safe environment focusing on:
- Presentation
- Confidence building
- Interpretation
- Delivery
- Phrasing
- Expression
- Microphone technique
- Connection with the audience and lyric
- Improvisation/melody variation
The three-week workshop culminates with a gig at a London music club where you will perform the two songs you have chosen to work on and put into practice what you have learnt.
The maximum number of places in each group is 8 ensuring participants have sufficient time at the microphone.
