WEEKEND SINGING RETREAT
"Get away from it all and indulge in a weekend of fun and inspiring singing. 
This is an individual and group singing retreat for all levels set in the tranquil and
relaxing environment of the English countryside."


With its tranquil and peaceful surroundings you
can't help but feel relaxed and rejuvenated in the
East Sussex countryside.
 
Singing is a great way to de-stress, express yourself and build your confidence and the uplifting singing activities combined with invigorating country walks and time to just sit and relax make this an ideal retreat to focus on something for you.




Tilton House is a beautiful, elegant and secluded getaway and the ideal venue for this vocal retreat.  Only an hour from London, it feels like you are a million miles away. The extensive grounds, workshop spaces, number of beautiful yards and verandas together with the network of country paths and nearby expansive views over the sea make Tilton House your perfect retreat.



Workshop activities include:
 
  • Relaxation and breathing exercises
  • Vocal warm-up and technique exercises to help develop your voice
  • Group harmony singing of soul, jazz & gospel classics
  • Individual performance training


The sessions are facilitated by top UK vocal coach Mike King (About Mike King) who creates a friendly, warm and supportive atmosphere to help students increase their confidence and develop.

As part of the singing retreat and aside from the group harmony singing, students will also have the exciting opportunity to work on the individual performance of their chosen song.  Students should ideally have a connection to the song they choose and it should be suitable for voice and piano.


This Georgian country house provides stylish yet cozy accommodation. Every room has plenty of character and all have stunning views over the countryside.

All rooms are sharing either on a double, twin or triple basis.

Depending on numbers there are sometimes a couple of rooms available for single use, subject to a supplement fee of £50.

The retreat runs from 5pm on the Friday until 5pm on the Sunday.
