Mike King's unique
approach to sharing his passion for music has touched the hearts of
thousands and helped and inspired many to develop successful careers.
His energy and enthusiasm are infectious, and hallmarks of his unique
style.
As well as writing,
recording and performing his own music, Mike King has been teaching
vocals at Goldsmiths
College, part of the University of London, for 10 years and is a guest
lecturer at the University of
East London and London Metropolitan University. He is regarded by many
as one of the UK's top vocal coaches and also works as a musical
director and session musician for various artists and groups.
Mike specialises in contemporary music (soul/jazz/gospel/R&B/rock/pop) and teaches a variety of voice, piano/keyboard, music theory and songwriting lessons. He also organises and teaches intensive vocal performance workshops in London.
Most recent clients include Tambu-Christel Pembele who is signed to Universal, Dionne Mitchell UK X-factor finalist and
Zarif, signed to RCA/Sony records who performed with John Legend
and was the support act for Beyonce’s UK tour.
