Mike King directs the world's largest choir at Wembley Arena for Save the Children
 Mike joined a mass bid to top the UK music charts and smashed a Guinness World Record in the process.
The Biggest Band is the UK's largest band made up of 10,000 singers who came together to record a hit single for the UK charts - 100% of the download profits went directly to Save the Children! Band members included pop stars, school children, families, TV presenters and the general public.
The event at Wembley Arena was broadcast live on
radio – smashing the record for the most people singing live on a radio
broadcast!!
MKC's Thailand charity single is now available to download from iTunes and AmazonMP3
"Find Our Way" reached No. 2 in the Amazon Hot New Releases Chart during it's first week of release!
The song, also recorded with pupils from Sacred Heart Secondary School in London, was specially written by Mike King to raise funds for the Father Ray Foundation and Pattaya Orphanage in Thailand. Sacred Heart started to support the charities in response to the devastating
Tsunami of 2004. Since then the
school has raised tens of thousands of pounds and selected pupils and teachers have made trips to Thailand to take over the money raised and buy
the resources the orphanage needs.
Spending time and caring for the orphans is also a major part of the
trips. This is a life-changing
experience for the pupils of Sacred Heart and puts their world into
perspective. Mike and MKC were honored to be involved in the project and hope others will support the charities and change the lives of those less fortunate by downloading the song for just 79p!!
